I provide full fibre of the internet to customers, to do this we work with contractors and our customers to select towns and cities in the UK to install fibre and ensure this is provided to a high standard.
we make sure that the existing telephony network is intact and any repairs needed are done in a timely manner while using the infrastructure to provide the fastest internet/ telephone connection available

It seems to be pretty structured, I have noticed others missing dates of courses due to others but it hasn't been my experience, I do feel the course itself is still a work in progress but we are among the first few to be on "the standard" instead of an NVQ but I'm pleased this is more catered towards my role and ensures I know how to do my job

Absolutely loads, I thought I would need more buddying but every part of my role I am surrounded by people who have been doing the job for a while I only need to speak up and someone will help me out. even my managers have tried their best to help out in any way they can.

once again as much as I need they have regular study days to ensure we are keeping up to date with what we need to be doing, the facilitator helps with any questions we have and ensures we are on track and will spend time going through our individual needs and is always available on the phone or email.

It just makes sure I am pulling together a portfolio of my work to ensure I am doing the right things whilst at work. I think there has been an issue in the past where the qualifications is unrelated to the day to day job of the people but the case here is we have to prove we know what we are doing.

I have found it to be a fantastic, helpful open place to work. there is a big push for everyone to feel welcomed and every day can be physically demanding. I think perhaps its a case of what you put in you get out but I feel they push you to feel included and to get the best out of you
