I am Fibre Delivery Engineer. My job role involves the delivery, installation and repair of Fibre to the premises products on behalf of service providers.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy my programme alot due to everyday learning new things and being challenged constantly.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt multiple skills and built on existing ones; I have learnt to work with others, deal with the public and work with innovative products and methods to create a great service for customers.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

All the tutors are extremely approachable making the programme one of the best ive been on. The experience and professionalism also shows.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

Alot. Any extra time i need to learn new processes etc is always given alongside any further help or coaching.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

Alot. Outside of the one monthly workshops all trainers are available to contact to help further is needs be.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It helps me breakdown the work im doing and realise what skills im putting in place. It also helps me identify how far ive come.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Yes. There are plenty of spaces for hobbies where we can talk with like minded individuals inside the company as well as multiple oppurtunites to take days off for volunteering work and social events/

Why?
Just because of the way we are treated in general. Ive never workd for a company where ive felt so valued.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to BT Group?
Be honest and show how keen you are. This is a company of go getters. They want to see how far you want to go and what you can bring to the company. Dont be timid. Tell them what you want even if its their position.
