Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
2/5
It is one of my main responsibilities to ensure that the store is being run correctly whilst on a shift. This requires me to be managing people to ensure that our customers are being served quickly whilst recieving the best quality, cleanliness and service that we can provide to them.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

Being able to have joined the programme I'm on my as one of the best opportunities I have had to date. I really enjoy that I'm able to both learn and practice the content of my course. I believe that learning in the way I'm learning is extremely effective and is developing me lots.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
From partaking in this course, I have learnt how the actions that I choose to take whilst on the floor actually affect the business. This has lead to me being more mindful about the bigger picture and what I can do to influence the best outcomes possible for my store.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The programme seems very well organised and structured. Even though all the content is online, the website is layed out very easily for use making it easy to navigate and find the information you need. Furthermore, it feels like there is a very good support system in place and plenty of ways to receive help if I was ever stuck.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
My Business manager supports me very well with my course. He ensures I get the time I need off floor to study/do my lessons and is very involved with keeping up to date with any courses and lessons I have coming up making sure they are all scheduled in properly.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
My training provider gives me as much support as I need as there are plenty of people I can ask for help if I'm stuck and additionally there are videos/tutorials that I can find around Moodle that can also help me or point me in the right direction.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I feel that the qualification is helping me lots in terms of my performance in my role. As I'm learning the contents from my course and gaining a better understanding and knowledge of my business, this has been allowing me to make better informed decisions as well as understanding better why some things are done.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
1/5
There are no extra-curricular activities that I can get involved in within my workplace. Occasionally we have a crew night out which would be the closest to this however it is not a regular activity to partake in. This question was not well thought out for providing a 50 word response in a case like this where the person doesn't have extra curricular activities provided by the employer.
