Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Court of Protection work which includes managing property and financial affairs for individuals who lack the capacity to do this themselves.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
4/5
The practice courses which were conveyancing and probate were enjoyable as I was getting experience in different fields and learning new things.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes I have been able to hone my skills as a Court of Protection fee earner and take on new tasks and responsibilities within the team.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
Fairly organised for the practice courses and although there was a lot of information/guidance available for the end point assessment, the tutor input was very disjointed.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I was given my contracted 20% off the job time during the entire course and my supervisor was very helpful and interested in my course.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Yes they provided all of the support I needed to progress towards exams and end point assessments.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
It helps me to progress within the field of Court of Protection however the qualification itself did not include Court of Protection work. Having said that, the qualification did focus on other areas and regulations that I needed to have knowledge of.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes lots of opportunities to network and socialise with colleagues and external groups.
