Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
5/5
As a key control auditor i check customer contacts made to the company through phone, chat and email to make sure that customer facing agents are being compliant with the companies processes and FCA regulations. I also check to make sure customer facing agents are being complaint with contractual obligations with the aggregators
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
5/5
I really enjoyed the course as i learnt something new everyday and i could apply this knowledge to my job role in risk and compliance. I have worked with some great people from the training officers at the growth company and the other people on my course who also work at AXA

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
5/5
I have learn a lot of in-depth information about the insurance market which has helped with my job role. I have developed skills with Excel and power point and part of the course was to do recorded phone conversations where i present information which was a good learning experience and has helped me in my normal work.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
5/5
Considering the program started 3 months before Covid struck and the rest of the course has been completed while working from home under lock down the organisation has been excellent. How we have been able to continue with no delays has been amazing and beyond what everyone who started the course expected
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
I received support with time during work hrs to complete the work. My manger has helped a great deal as well as my work team as they have helped with any queries i have had and helped me prepare for exams and my final assessments. Some of my team have already completed the course themselves so their knowledge has been invaluable
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My training provider was excellent and i was able to contact them any time for any help or advise. I had one on one sessions every three to four weeks and group coaching sessions every five to six weeks. During the final weeks of the course i was constantly in touch with my work coach.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
5/5
During the course i applied for a different job role which was a step up for me and i can honestly say that the knowledge learned during the course helped me not only get the role, but has helped me develop quickly in my new role which has lead to an excellent rating in my yearly review
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
At the moment due to covid all of these have been out on hold. Normally AXA has lots of social activities from summer balls and Christmas parties to five aside football teams and cake bake competitions. We support charity days such as Macmillan and children in need and have team competitions such as Halloween decorating.
