Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Analyse datasets of fraudulent activity on cards, looking for trends. Then sending these trends to the strategy team, who will write rules based on the findings.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
The work aspect has been fantastic, I've enjoyed learning on the job and putting practical skills to use.
The downside would be the courses that we had to take. These were not well developed or suited to remote learning.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
A few skills I have developed have been; Excel skills, programming languages, and real world data analytics.
I have also developed my, public speaking/presentation skills, and my confidence.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
Again the work side has been fantastic, no complaints.
The coursework for the qualification hasn't been as good.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Full support on anything that has ever popped up. No complaints at all
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
2/5
My assessor has been fantastic, and always willing to help. However the courses I have been on havent been structured in a way where I felt like I was learning, and the course tutors didnt always hit the mark
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
1/5
I feel as though the qualification has been quite divorced from the role, I havent taken much from the qualification to be put to use my role, is has been primarily the other way round, things I've been taught on the job have helped me with the courses.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
There are, however due to covid this has not been applicable for the majority of my apprenticeship
