Maximum responsibility I experienced was creating some deliverables that would be used either internally or with clients. Potentially there is scope for more.

Developed a lot of technical knowledge surrounding the (re)insurance industry.

A lot.
There were general training sessions, division-specific training sessions, weekly meetings with your mentor, peer-coaching sessions with fellow interns.
And everyone's mostly free to just hop on a call and run through things with you - whether fellow intern or someone experienced at Aon.
