How much support do you receive from your employer?
Pre-covid the company has been brilliant and I have always had the training or equipment required... HR are always accessible and my manager shows great support.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
Since leaving the college I have had further issues with them as they are meant to continue with my training however I have had very little input.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
There is also the graduate and apprentice committee who arrange socials and learning opportunities.
Recommendations & Advice
Would you recommend Transport for London to a friend?
Why?
Another great perk is the employee oyster card.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Transport for London?
I'd also suggest you don't expect anything instant - the onboarding process takes a long time and will require you to chase up HR at various points... don't be afraid to chase but don't be doing it daily either.
