Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
I am part of the Entity Data Management team. We maintain the AMC Database of client entities which feed into downstream systems. Our data is used in a variety of different systems to ensure currently correct information can be used to allocate/reconcile trade information to correct client information.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
During my placement I have ben given a lot of responsibilities- everyday I work on the SMC file and send for mapping. Next week I will be working on the Optima SOIs.
So far I have presented my three Micro Projects, all three went very well and a team member attended.

- Work efficiently and completing tasks in a timely manner within my team.
- Neueda training- I have presented three presentations and attended at least 6 hours of training a week.
- AMC Creations in 12 minutes.
- Markit Red.
- Up to date on all required training on LMS
- Any free time I have I read articles and videos on Degreed- branding, change management and account management,
- I have been recently shown how to use the mapping file and SMC.
