Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Working on deals from origination till execution, working on diverse kind of deals, from M&A to IPOs, prepare marketing material, build valuation models, working on presentations and any deliverable required for the client, from DD to Q&A preparation
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, gradually but increasingly. I have learned to develop dependability in my work and therefore recieved many tasks over time that required great responsibility

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
Many, I have learned skills that would have taken me 6 months to acquire at a normal job (here took 2 months). I developed my attention to details, big thiniking capabilities, sharpened my valuation skills and most importantly my communication skills

A lot, working constantly with pees helped me get up to speed quickly while understanding new process and knowledge that I did not have

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Really good, although the life style is quite intense the team was very supportive and had great patience to explain everything as I progressed
