Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
As a summer analyst intern in 2 trading teams, I have tried to help by doing different short term projects. I used excel and my coding skills to do so.
I also had to network with people in the market division and I shadowed traders of my teams when I had the chance to do so.
Hence, on a day-to-day I was doing my projects, asking questions about the industry, the work and markets in general.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
During my internship I was given responsibilities. Indeed, I had the occasion to develop tools that mu teams are using to trade and that help them.
In order to do so, I had to have the confidence of my teams, I gained this confidence by working hard and give my help any time I had the chance to do so.
However, I could have been given more responsibilities.

I had the occasion and the chance to learn a lot during this internship.
First of all it was a incredible human experience. I grew up with people of this nice industry and I learned from them on the way to act at work and as a team.
Moreover, I also had the occasion to develop my soft and hard skills. I learn a lot about the market and financial products, about trading, structuring and sales. I also had the occasion to develop my excel and coding skills.
