Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

- Collection and analysis of company information to assist transactions: conducting industry research and benchmarking, revising and organizing financial data
- Financial data analysis (ratio analysis, financial statements analysis etc.) and development and update of financial models, including DCF analysis and Comparable approach
- Preparation of presentation and discussion materials and pitchbooks required for various projects
- Research and collection of financial and strategic information needed for projects

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

During some tasks I was given quite a lot responsibility, for example when I was assigned to update financial models or prepare discussion materials from scratch

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?

- I enhanced my business and commercial awareness as well as technical and analytical skills: financial modeling, financial analysis and research skills
- I improved my knowledge about the peculiarities of each industry: key financials, companies' market positions, possible investment highlights etc.
- I improved my attention to detail skills, since I started to receive much less adjustment comments from my colleagues
- I managed to work more independently and become more confident in completing tasks

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I received a lot of support of any type during my internship: from HR, recruiters, my Buddies and my team I worked with on daily basis. It is a great pleasure to be a part of such a friendly global community.
