Work mostly front of house to provide an excellent experience for customers when they visit our pub. Giving good food and drink, good service and atmosphere.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I have enjoyed this apprenticeship as I have worked in retail and hospitality for the majority of my working life and it's given me a great depth of understanding of the hospitality industry

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

Problem solving and time management have been greatly improved, as well as learning about and how to pour a variety of drinks and cocktails

How well organised/structured is your programme?

While there were huge disruptions due to the pandemic, it has been handled well, communication has always been clear between all parties
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I didn't receive any special treatment from my employer, however I have never felt unsupported and have been given the time when I need it to work on my apprenticeship
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I have been given an excellent amount of support from my training provider with regular check ins and updates
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has given me a great depth of understanding for my job role and allows me to perform better and with more confidence

There is nothing formally organised through work, however a large number of staff members will occasionally get together for social events
