- Assigned projects to support the GRC team in their day-to-day activities
- Attend seminars on the payments industry and provide downloads to the team
- Protect the business's reputation, financial health and long-term interests by helping the team identify, measure and control risks.
- Shadow projects to better understand how compliance officers minimise risk

Support and Guidance

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?

I had a weekly 121 with my line manager, as well as several coffee chats with managers across the team throughout my internship. I was provided with support on my projects as well as advice in terms of career progression.
The campus recruitment team also held several drop in sessions for interns to ask any questions- this was highly beneficial.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I thoroughly enjoyed it! I learnt a lot from my team and was provided with a lot of autonomy. I equally made great connections that I know will prove to be useful in my career progression.
Additionally, the socials that the campus recruitment team held made the aspect of a virtual internship less daunting.
