Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
Meeting & Greeting customers, carrying out servicing & transactional requests. Account opening for current accounts, credit cards, loans & home insurance. Making referrals to other area's of the business.
Now I am also taking calls from customers routed from our contact centre.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
1/5
I haven't enjoyed the program as it is not what I was lead to believe it to be. It has also been very disjointed with the pandemic causing a lot of uncertainty & unpredictability.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learned more about the legal & regulatory aspects of banking.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
It is really well structured but I missed a lot of webinars due to staff shortage during isolation periods so this has meant that I am continually trying to catch up & understand my next steps
How much support do you receive from your employer?
1/5
This has been a bit sporadic due to all of the challenges faced during the pandemic. The employer does not realise how much work is involved & that the time is needed every week not just when staffing levels permit.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I get positive support & generally a quick response.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I am more knowledgeable & can share this with my colleagues & customers.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
Not in the last 18 months due to restrictions & lockdown. However there are lots of ways to connect & share information & experiences.
