My role as a fabricator is to take in engineering drawings and produce a product using a range of metalworking techniques taking into account information from the drawing itself
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I do really enjoy the programme even though it can get overwhelming in terms of workload and if practical work isn't going as well as I would like

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt a range of metal work techniques to fold, bend, shear and cut components. I have built on my communication skills and have learnt how to extract information from engineering drawings

How well organised/structured is your programme?

It is well organised, sometimes workload is sent differently to the schedule however the structure if the programme is good
How much support do you receive from your employer?

The support is good. There is check ins to see if we are doing ok
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provider supports me in a big way, I am happy with their levels of support

It helps me massively because of the relaxed environment and tutors giving us the support.
