International Distribution Coordinators are responsible for the distribution of our products and API internationally. Each IDC has their own portfolio of products and brands which they are responsible for.
We manage and process our orders in SAP, we create the shipping documentation and we work with freight forwarders to manage the transportation of products around the globe by air, sea, road and rail.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I really enjoy this programme and I feel very lucky to have had these career opportunities at such a young age.

Skills Development

Proficient at using Microsoft Word, Power Point, SharePoint, Excel and SAP ICON/ EWM/ NATP, communication, problem solving, organisation, using my initiative and the ability to identify and effectively communicate key issues for resolution.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
It is well structured. I think sometimes as an apprentice I prioritise workload over uni work as I want to support the team. Once I shared this issue with my manager I am now much better at using my uni days to stay in control of my modules.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
A lot of support
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
Many of the modules are helping us to both understand theory but also apply it to projects in our workplace.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
2/5
I have been involved in the GES wellbeing network which I enjoy a lot. I would like to know what other social activities/ sport teams are available at work and I'm not sure where to find this information.
