Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
2 days per week are with your line manager in an assigned business area and you attend meetings and complete tasks set by them.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
The amount of responsibility and work depends heavily on the tasks set by your manager. As the internship is short and only 2 days per week are on placement, my level of responsibility was fairly low but I still enjoyed it.

Skills Development
Have you learnt any new skills, or developed your existing skills?
We had development sessions on lots of soft skills such as presentation skills, emotional intelligence and making an impression while working remotely.
It is clear the bank invest a lot of time developing you as a person and not just your knowledge base.

How much support and guidance did you receive during your placement / internship?
Communication from Early Careers about our schedule was excellent.
We were assigned a buddy who is on the graduate scheme which again made it easy to ask questions and feel supported.

The 8 weeks have been really well structured and the graduate scheme looks really appealing and I appreciate that we were given an interview at the end for it.
