Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role is to assist in communicating important messages to the team, by preparing and sending weekly communication to wider team, analyzing and sorting data and creating an internal webpage to store all communications and relevant information to the teams. It also involves looking at how to uplift colleges well-being in both work and home life.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
It is a very good program, you are challenged and valued from day one and very fulfilling. It is exciting to learn new things and then relay back to the team who sometimes didn't already know what you you have learnt . Although in my experience it can sometimes be very repetitive in the work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have learnt many new skills including how to create webpages and use them to show different types of information, how to communicate ideas and information effetely to management, and how to work in a collaborate manner for better results. I have developed my existing skills in PowerPoint and Excel and writing commination's.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
The work side of the program is organized in a relaxed fashion, you have a clear goal and timeline to complete these, but it is on yourself to do on time and submit. The college side is more structured in lessons and work, there is also a clear goal and timeline to abide to. They are both very structured and organized but will also allow for wiggle room when needed
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
We receive as much support as we need from the employer, there is a standard amount of support in where we have regular meetings and catch ups to discuss our progress, if we need more time with our work everyone is more then happy to put the time in and help/support us further. We also have access to lots of learning material to help us further our learning
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
Our regular support is a coaching session every few months to see how are projects are coming along, where we will have the opportunity to ask for any further help and extra sessions. All of the 'classroom' sessions are very guided towards helping us achieve the best result in my qualification.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It gives me a base knowledge of features and programs that I uses in my day to day job. It also helps me in organizing my time and prioritizing projects and tasks. It also helps in teamworking situations and has given me more confidence in working and presenting my work and ideas in groups
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
There are many activities to get involved in a Barclays from, social coffee groups, to groups marketed towards types of people, for example working families groups, women in technology and many more, they provide support and a place to voice any concerns or issues that may have around working and home life. There are also many sports and game teams, although most at the moment are postponed due to covid
