Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:

I work on the bar , serving alcohol and soft drinks. Also spend my day taking food orders and staying in charge of the bills and keeping the cellar clean.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the work that’s been set and enjoy learning new things. I like the phone calls with my trainer. She’s fun and doesn’t make the course seem daunting

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I have learnt many new skills such as cleaning the pipes properly to ensure we have good tasting beer. I learnt about the laws in hospitality which is the most important thing in the trade

I like the portal on lifetime training as it shows me when my next visit is and what i have to do next.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is an older man so doesn’t know too much about this course. But he’s has been nothing but grand to me. But definitely think Marston’s should support him more with the learning too
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

My trainer is so supportive. If i ever had a worry about anything wether it be work related, course related or even at home. She so willing to help me with anything.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

Very well. Lifetime training has great resources and always has had great information.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

Not at my work personally no, we are only a small buisness however lifetime offered me many classrooms for extra learning
