Structure and Support
How well organised/structured is your programme?
At the start of the Programme, we has 12 well structured weeks to help us (the Apprentices) get settled in to life at Barclays, this 12 weeks was really useful.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
At Barclays, there is an endless supply of help that they offer you! The support system is incredible!!
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
Unfortunately, because of Covid-19 I haven't been able to join any of these yet as I haven't been to the campus since I started working there but in the future I will defiantly be joining one!
Recommendations & Advice
Would you recommend Barclays to a friend?
Why?
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Barclays?
1. Be confident, don't seem shy! Make sure you show them your personality, it is a big part of Barclays.
2. In your interview ask questions about Barclays!! If you do this, it will show that you are really interested in the company and you want to be there and that you are already planning on being there.
3. BE YOURSELF! Barclays is all about inclusivity, show your personality in your interview! If they ask you a question that gives you the opportunity to tell a funny story that taught you something, tell it and then tell them what this experience taught you!
