Health care social worker Review

I assist individuals with their day to day life, Things like personal care, meals, medication, shopping, cleaning and finances. I also have to contact correct people when necessary like Doctors, occupational therapist’s, district nurses and social workers. I help to rehabilitate individuals and get them back on their feet.

My programme is very well organised. It is easy to understand and very straight forward. I like how we have an app so we can access our work whenever we want and it’s quick and easy. The structure of my work is great also as it’s easy to understand.

My employer is good and bad in ways. Communication with the office staff is not great, my work is not really local anymore meaning I’m having to travel most of my days. On the other hand I have been with AMG nearly 4 years now and they are good for their standard of care and we have great training services to develop further in our knowledge.

I have a great tutor who assists me when needed, we have contact throughout the month until we have out review meeting. If I ever need help I can call my tutor and she will help me straight away, she is not hard to get hold of and very reliable.

I think it will help me to succeed to where I want to be in the coming future. I want to become a qualified nurse so therefore me doing this course will make me one step closer to working in the hospital and experiencing a lot more within a nursing role.

AMG is a good care company in the perspective of we deliver a good service of care. We have great training services and before I started I did not know half as much as I know now. That is from learning myself but also leaning from my training we have.
