Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
It involved auditing an entity by performing testing and checking evidences. We had to prepare EGA's which contained all the information about the client.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
The programme is beneficial and knowledgeable so I do enjoy it quite a lot. It could have been way better if my first placement was in person instead of work from home this year.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
Yes, I have improved my excel skills and improved my communication skills as well. The new skills developed were learning how to use the AURA software and the whole process of auditing an entity.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
4/5
It is quite well structured as the concept of few months being allocated for university exams and lectures and few months being allocated for placement has worked out well without any confusion.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
4/5
I do receive full support from the employer as they do understand we are flying start students and have our placement for 3 months. They do understand we are new to the work environment and hence provide full guidance.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
4/5
I do receive full support from my training provider as we get a proper break to study for our exams and also have revision classes being conducted.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
It does help a lot, as the theoretical knowledge gained while learning audit in university is applied practically while working.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
4/5
Yes, there are extra curricular activities such as group socials, quizzes and meditation/well being events.

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend PwC to a friend?
Yes
Why?
It is because I got a good exposure to the work environment and it helped me understand the whole process of auditing better. It also provides benefits and jo security to their employees.
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to PwC?
I would tell others to be well prepared for their interviews while applying to PwC and have a basic idea of the firms structure, purpose and guidelines, prior to applying.
