My role involves the managing and overseeing of the Ely outreach service that provide support to adults with Learning Disabilities and mental health.
I make sure that all the support is delivered, manage the staff team, liaise with the MDT, write and maintain support plans and risk assessments, complete reviews.

During my research for the units I have been completing, I have improved my knowledge in several area's such as Governance and legislation within health and social care.

How well organised/structured is your programme?

My assessor is extremely organised, I know what units i need to complete before we meet each month and what KSB's I need to evidence for the completion of each unit. My assessor is also supportive, informative and encouraging.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer offers support and guidance and is letting me set time aside to meet with the assessor each month during my working day.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The support offered is extremely helpful, motivating and I am making steady progress through the course.
I did have an assessor change 4-5 months into the course but this was a blessing as the new assessor is far more competent and knowledgeable.
