To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy spending time with my Teacher who very understanding of my concerns and worries she will talk me through all making sure I can understand anything I am very unsure one ,she is good laugh and helps me through anything i am stuck on sending me links to courses

Yes I have learned about health and safety why in the work place ,how to document things correctly in to my care plans and how to manager stress with in and out of a work place , documenting skills of professional emails written

organised/structured is very well Organized and easy to understand using Learning Journal, and daily news letters and cognassist assessment which all very well planned out and help build my skills along the way .easy writing and learning skills - and groups to help along away making it very structured

my employer very good and will come in to sessions when she can to give advice where I feel I am be hide or may fail at , she understanding and always here if need help with anything ,, why at home or at work

we catch up every month in which we will talk about anything I have learned for the month and reflect on anything we wish talk about with in the sessions she very supportive at all times and will always support me any needs I am unsure on

Each day I am learning something new this can be something as simple writing email to learning new skills with in my job role , I am learning every day using all I have towards making myself better with in the work rule on daily bases with skills i Have learned

social activities, we run many threw the week this could be coffee and cake for everyone including families, we have elvis come in , and often to bowling , darts and exercise classes , there also pray groups on a sunday where any welcome to join in and sing and learn about god.

westminster home care has been like a home and family to me , they shown me whats like to be part of a team , teaching me new skills , showing me where I fail , they caring and understand working place where they can give great support to there careers ,residents and families
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to Westminster Homecare Ltd?
Training is very important when first starting , as many medications and well hoist sara steady that you will need to learn about and use correctly, also only go into care work if its your passion that you have good listening ear and very calm when talking to residents and family's
