To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy the programme, it has taught me a lot of new academic theory and it allow allows me to practice the theory in the workplace. It has taught me how to manage my time better as I work and study full time.

Majority of the skills I need to have, I learned and was taught from working within in the department.

Very well organised, we are provided a calendar at the beginning of each academic year and everything is planned out for us.
How much support do you receive from your employer?

My employer is very supportive, we are assigned a mentor to help and when you do need to reach out to different departments for more information everyone is more than willing to help.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

The training provided fully pays for the studies and ensures that the university are encouraging work based learning.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It has given me much more knowledge about a lot of different areas of our organisation, i feel more confident in knowledge and experience and it has also improved by writing skills from a business perspective.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are lots of extra-curricular activities. Networking events are thoroughly encouraged and are held very regular.

What tips or advice would you give to others applying to abrdn?
Meet as many new people from different departments as you can. The organisation is very large and everyone is more than willing to meet new people and create new connections. Growing your network is very important and will benefit your career massively.
