Day to day tasks include, valuing contract works and variation items, negotiating final accounts, issuing site instructions and forecasting end of life costs for multiple different sub-contracts using a range of skills and software.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

As challenging and stressful this role can be, it leaves me with a sense of job satisfaction that makes me enjoy the work and look forward to coming in.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I've learnt how to value work, use of CAD software, expanded my problem solving, negotiation and people skills. I am learning more and more every week.

The course is very well organised and I feel I get the support I need.

I receive a good level of support from my employer. However, from my experience, I have learned far quicker through working things out myself and asking lots of questions.

Although some modules I have done don't directly relate to my day to day roles, overall I think what I have learnt has given me a much broader library of knowledge, as well as specialising in other areas.

There are occasionally opportunities. There are social events around important dates such as practical completion etc.
