To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
2/5
The program can give a good variety of work at times although depending on the team you are placed in can have extended periods without much practical work.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
4/5
I have been trained in cable jointing on different cable types and developed knowledge of electricity through a city and guilds course.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
The training courses themselves are well organized. Trying to get the experience required on site can be difficult as many jobs are very similar and getting exposure to different tasks is quite rare.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
2/5
Reviews are completed every 3 months in these issues can be raised.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
We attend college blocks on release working toward city and guilds in these we study all materials for a unit then complete exams at the end of the block. Practical jointing courses are completed in the training school and take place over several weeks where all the joints are assessed.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
2/5
The city and guilds course covers a large variety of areas. Some are relevant to the role others not so but may vary depending on your trade.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
1/5
Some events are available.
