Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
The role was incredibly varied and stimulating, as I was involved in the completion of documents (e.g. management information, credit papers, prospects, etc.) and in maintaining solid relationships with clients. There were multiple opportunities to engage with staff from different divisions and countries, which gave me an insight into HSBC's international footprint.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Since the very beginning, I was given significant responsibility, which made me feel incredibly determined and motivated. I was assigned tasks involving very sensitive data, as well as being provided the opportunity to attend client meetings and calls regarding deals; all duties that made me feel incredibly involved and autonomous.
