Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
3/5
As a Technology Consulting placement student, I was involved in digital transformation, working on multiple projects across the UK. This involved a lot of travel to client site and a lot of my projects involved the implementation of a Salesforce solution.
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
I definitely enjoyed my placement; there were some difficult days and long hours, but overall it was a great experience.

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
I gained certifications in both Salesforce and UiPath, and developed data modelling, data manipulation and data visualisation skills using Excel, Tableau and Alteryx. I also gained a knowledge in Python and had an introduction to Microsoft Azure.

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
2/5
The structure of the programme didn't have a great start it was going through a change when I started, so it was a bit unorganised, but it got better as it went on.
How much support do you receive from your employer?
3/5
I received a good amount of support from my employer, especially from my assigned career coach.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
3/5
I didn't exactly have a training provider, most of my learning was self-motivated/on my own initiative.
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
4/5
I believe my training and certifications definitely have helped me progress in my role and take on more technical responsibility.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
I helped organise an "AI for Good" hackathon in collaboration with UKBlackTech for university students and PwC employees. I also was a PwC ambassador and attended networking events for prospective students and graduates. And I also volunteered with Hive Hackers where I taught code at a primary school.
