Learning and working within Rolls-Royce to understand engineering concepts and processes. Placement work can be varied as you are required to reach different criteria, so your day to day job will change every few months
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy all the training, and working within the business. Being treated as a normal employee is great as you don’t feel like you’re at a disadvantage to anyone else.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I’ve learned lots of new skills and knowledge. Which will help me later in my career

How well organised/structured is your programme?

The programme is well structured and planned, which means all the placements flow smoothly
How much support do you receive from your employer?

I receive as much support as I need, with an allocated manager who is solely available for helping me progress through my apprenticeship.
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

I haven’t had much contact with my training provider so I’m not sure what support they offer
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

All the training I do, and the qualifications I am gaining, will help me in my role as they allow me to learn the skills required in an engineering business.
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

I get involved with the Apprenticeship Council, as I think it’s good to have something different to your daily role to be involved with
