Working within the turbines department creating stress models and colating data
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?

I enjoy coming into work and working towards actual Rolls Royce projects, whilst also gaining knowledge as well as attending university

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?

I’ve developed networking skills, as well as being able to create and manipulate CAD models

How well organised/structured is your programme?

Very well organised, I’m always made aware of what needs to be done and when by my apprentice development leader
How much support do you receive from your employer?

A lot, especially over the COVID-19 period, always being kept in the loop and with constant support in the form of weekly calls to check up on any issues and mental health support
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?

We’re given plenty of opportunity to work on our university work when needed as well as Rolls Royce being in contact with university to follow up on feedback from the students
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?

It is directly correlated to the work I carry out and helps to improve the quality of my work
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)

There are many sports teams and leasure teams to join, if there is a gap for a nee club you’re also able to set up your own club
