Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis:
4/5
My role is serving inbound business banking customers to help with their banking needs, things such as: balances, statements, payments, debit card orders for new or lost/stolen ones. Answering any questions about their business account e.g. if they are looking to take out a loan or add another person onto the account
To what extent do you enjoy your programme?
3/5
Overall I do enjoy the programme, It give mes time off the phone to focus on bettering myself, the modules are different so its not the same thing all the time, in some modules I have had to work as a team which has got me involved in things socially too. There are some things at the start of the programme which took a while to get going but thats understandable

Skills Development

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
3/5
Yes I have definitely learned new skills, people skills and how to talk to people or how to diffuse a situation and keeping the customers best interests in mind. I have learned good IT skills via using different systems at work

Structure and Support

How well organised/structured is your programme?
3/5
I would say as the programme has progressed it has got more structured with people messaging me to keep up to date which is great as it shows they are caring and not leaving me to it all the time, like i said in the previous question it just took a while to get started at the start but thats fine now
How much support do you receive from your employer?
5/5
Overall I really can't complain about the support I get, whatever I ask within reason I am accommodated for which is fantastic, I haven't had a issue at all from my manager, mentor or anyone whilst working here
How much support do you receive from your training provider when working towards your qualifications?
5/5
My tutor was always emailing me if I needed any help and when I did need help she was efficient and fast and most of all helpful. If i wast stuck on where to find things I could email her. Even if I was to have some personal issues I felt I could have spoken to her
How well do you feel that your qualification (through your training provider) helps you to perform better in your role?
3/5
The learning on the apprenticeship in comparison to my job role I think it relatively useful, I do find that the actual job experience is going to triumph any sort of course work but thats just my opinion. It is very good to get some theory work in though as it breaks it up
Are there extra-curricular activities to get involved in at your work? (For example, any social activities, sports teams, or even professional networking events.)
3/5
As far as i'm aware I know there have been a fair few different activities since working here, I know theres a good few groups of people who play five a side football and things like that. I also have been out after work with groups of work friends too which is a not break from the work environment

Recommendations & Advice

Would you recommend NatWest Group to a friend?
Yes
Why?
The work itself is very manageable in terms of stress levels once you get competent, you learn a lot of new skills and improve the skills you currently have. The great thing is the skills can used in all walks of life as they are mainly people skills and IT based skills
What tips or advice would you give to others applying to NatWest Group?
Make sure you're fully prepared for the interview, have an idea roughly of what you'll be doing to actually feel if it would be the job for you, if you have had previous experience
