Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The day started with a coffee upstairs before 9 AM. At 9, we headed to our desks, chatted with the team during our morning huddle call, and discussed workloads. After this we got to work - Tasks included drafting, researching, and reviewing. Partners and associates were generous with their time. Lunch was on the 5th floor and everyone mixed. Afternoons involved meetings, assisting fee earners, and working on intern group projects with my team.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Understanding the business and potential roles was highly informative. It was fascinating to observe the office dynamics between trainees, associates, and partners - everyone truly felt like part of a team, and no door was ever closed. Additionally, it was intriguing to see the pitching side of the business, including client pitches and the entrepreneurial aspects of a law firm.

Have you learnt any new skills or developed existing skills?
I've learned the importance of always writing things down when someone is speaking to you. They might ask you to do something, and if you haven't noted it, you could be stuck. This has been my biggest takeaway. Additionally, I've learnt that a good attitude goes a long way.

Great vibes. The early careers team were so involved an there whenever we needed them. Everything felt really well organised. The office was happy and collaborative
