Overview of Experience
Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
You are mostly undertaking standard trainee-level tasks in each seat. This involves (in general, as this will be specific to your seat/supervisor) proofreading, research, bundling etc.
I had a chance to speak to lawyers in the full range of seniority where I was able to learn more about the work the firm does, and its culture.
Lastly, regular social events were organised for us as an internship cohort.

What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Very easy.
The introductory talks are really useful for this. They provide a comprehensive overview of the firm and its strategy, and give ample opportunity to chat with specific individuals in your area of interest.
With regard to the potential roles available, we are told that during the Internship is an assessment for a Training Contract. They also inform us of all the potential seats within said Training Contract.
