Overview of Experience

Please give an overview of the insight and what was involved on a day-to-day basis.
The days can be quite different depending on what seat you are in however, if you have a big task it would often involve filling out templates, drafting documents and doing research. Some seats will have the opportunity to get you involved on client calls in real life matters. Also, you will have regular daily debriefs with your supervisor to monitor progress.
What was it like understanding all about the business and potential roles available?
Learning about the business was very insightful as we held a 3 day induction in London with various speakers outlining the firm's new strategy and the future of the firm. Various partners talked about their different practice groups and the variety of roles available and being able to experience two seats gives you a different perspective.

5/5
What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
The culture of the firm is reflective of the values and ethos of the firm - it was very collaborative and supportive. We had regular debriefs with our supervisors and our trainee buddy's were very helpful when we had general questions or advice. The induction gave us the opportunity to connect with all of our interns before we started and made the process more relaxing. The professionals around me have really demonstrated the 'exceptional' nature of the firm and standards you aspire to be at.
