Vacation Placement Review

Each day consisted of something new. My trainee buddy and supervisors kept me occupied with a variety of different tasks. The team were incredibly helpful and patient in explaining concepts to me and how the practice area works. I was also included in team meetings. 10/10 experience!

I learnt a lot about the team and the work that they do. I think perhaps I would have liked learning about the firm itself on a wider scale. However, I do prefer that my time here was focused on actual work .

Research skills,
Jargon/ terminology e.g. purpose and meaning of a debenture or floating/ fixed charge
Operating companies house
Drafting
Spell checking
Amending documents - being detail orientated.

The team were extremely friendly and I really value their openness and communication methods towards each other. e.g. concerning workload.
I never felt intimidated approaching people in my team and teams replies were quite fast.

I really did enjoy it, I wish perhaps we got to interact with grad rec a bit more to know more about next steps.
