I had weekly 1-1 meetings with my line manager, who I maintained regular communication with and was also always on hand to answer any questions I had. I also received extensive support from the early careers team.

The general atmosphere at the company is very friendly and positive and you are made to feel very welcome as soon as you join. The company culture is also very collaborative and supportive.

I enjoyed my placement year to a very significant extent. My positive experiences within my team and with my line manager combined with the work that I did on a day to day basis as well as the opportunities offered to me by the early careers team meant that I enjoyed my placement year and felt it was a valuable personal and professional development experience.
