Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role involves updating the UK National Skoda website and Digital Assistant retailer app. I work with many agencies across the wider marketing team and you can get involved in as much or as little as you want to.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Yes, Volkswagen Group give a lot of responsibility to their Undergraduates. Your team put a lot of trust in you, which is really great. You can get involved in other projects as well, as long as you can manage your day-to-day tasks, your team will be more than happy to let you do this. You feel like you are really making a difference.

I have been given a lot of support within my team and also within the wider Skoda brand. Everyone is happy to help or give advice where they can. I have been able to speak to a variety of people across the business who have helped support and guide me.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Great company culture, especially in Skoda, there is a family feel. It is a great atmosphere to work in and I enjoy when I am working in the office.

Overall Experience
To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
I thoroughly enjoyed my placement year, I think this year has helped me develop in many ways. I hope this year will give me a good start to my career when looking for graduate roles, as I already have a years worth of experience behind me. I have met amazing people whilst working here and I will really miss my role.
