Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

The role of the Tactical and Planning Analyst is to support the Tactical team (and specifically the Tactical Manager Penny Hornsby). The tasks will be helping in the planning, tracking and reporting on daily, weekly and monthly performance in terms of orders and sales across all models and channels (mostly Retail, Motability and Fleet). You will get involved with invoice checking, competitor trawls, current tactical offers, bonus payments and event reporting. Additionally, you will get ad-hoc requests, depending on the team and wider business needs and activities.

Company Culture

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?

I worked within the Skoda brand of Volkswagen Group UK and the culture was welcoming and friendly. Everyone was approachable and willing to help. I felt supported and could ask questions to people higher up.
