Yes, I was treated like any other employee. When I was ready to take more responsibility and extra tasks I was given them. Not only my team but also my brand have trust in my ability to complete the tasks and that is reflected in the fact they often come directly to me when they have queries.

I have developed a lot of technical skills, Excel and PowerBI mostly but also PowerPoint and our automated reporting system.
Also I have developed a lot of soft skills, communication, teamwork, taking responsibility and time management as there are a lot of reports and a lot of deadlines

There was a lot of support provided by my team, I had a 2 week handover from the previous undergrad and there are always process notes for any new task I take on or I am responsible to create them if they are totally new. The HR team also ran a lot of sessions at the start of the placement, sometimes getting in external guests to provide training in soft skills.

The culture is great! It is really inclusive you can be yourself and everyone is so supportive. Everyone is very passionate and wants not only themselves but others and the company to succeed. My brand runs a lot of events and everyone is included, its a great way to meet and network with people you don't see in your day to day role

I thoroughly enjoyed my placement, my team have been amazing and I have really enjoyed the actual work I do. I feel like it has an impact and adds value to the business, unlike some other placements I have heard about. The whole placement feels very organised and is clearly thought out.
