People Services Coordinator Review

I look after the employee lifecycle including onboarding new starters, leavers, Maternity, Shared Parental leave, Flexible working request, job changes.
My role is different everyday, I manage our company inbox where people can email any questions they have about anything to do with the company.
I do payroll actions every month, monthly reporting for the wider business.

I was given lots of responsibility during my placement of looking after my specific brands and functions, having monthly reports and managing both my own inbox and a second one. I had responsibility of onboarding the new cohort of undergraduates and graduates

I was given lots of support from my team members and they were always happy to help if I was struggling with something or was unsure of how to do something.

The company culture was really positive, I felt really welcomed when I started and people understood I was new and an undergraduate and therefore didn't have lots of experience and was helpful and understanding.

I really enjoyed my placement and thought it was a really great experience and learnt so much from it that I can take with my in my future career.
