Insight day Review

The insight day was very fun and it was a friendly atmosphere. The day began with a brief run through of the day and a talk from the firms responsible business team.
After this there were various spotlight sessions with different teams that were a great opportunity to learn about the work each team does. This was followed by a lunch with a few partners and trainees.
After lunch we had a group assessment and then a closing session followed by a networking event with various people who worked at the firm.

It was insightful learning about how the firm emphasises a friendly working culture and responsible business. They were very transparent with the seats the training contract would have and the potential NQ jobs. The spotlight sessions were great for learning about what each team the training contract would be based around does.

I definitely developed my understanding of the firm and the work it does. I also developed my networking and people skills as I met and chatted with many new people throughout the day.
As well as this, the group task definitely helped me to improve my team work skills as I had to work with people I had only just met.

The company has a great working culture. Everyone is very friendly and down to earth. I had no problem asking questions and I really enjoyed the warm atmosphere.

I thoroughly enjoyed the day. It was great to meet several people from the firm from trainee to partner level. I had fun getting to learn about the different areas within the business and the type of work a trainee could be involved in. The networking session was enjoyable as well as people from various teams took the time out their days to get to know me and answer questions.
