Throughout the placement, I was able to take on roles of responsibility, not only being entrusted by higher-ups but also advocating for my ideas. I was able to lean on them and take ownership of them.

Key skills learned: communication, presentation, stakeholder management, collaboration, and interpersonal skills. Both hard and soft skills for project management. This means learning how to efficiently manage projects, lead constructive and meaningful meetings, and turn those into meaningful actions.

Support and guidance were given at the project-specific level. However, the overall placement scheme was a little less organized. The team members were always encouraging, as well as the line managers, who engaged in growth opportunities for you.

The company culture is generally very welcoming and open, where people are willing to have discussions and engage in conversation with you, supporting your ideas and growth opportunities

I have very much enjoyed my placement and the opportunities it has provided, as well as the discussion and encouragement to think beyond my current position into future career opportunities
