Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Completing various admin tasks used by several departments on a day to day basis. Managing 300+ orders (engines) at any one time and working with multiple departments to get them built and shipped on time whilst communicating this info to customers. Speaking with people all across the world.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
Some may say too much as past placement students seem to have struggled from what everyone said to my upon starting. I was thrown in at the deep end with many people out of office on sick leave, maternity leave and general changes to the business due to my role in supply chain. A lot of work was left on my desk with little to no training initially, but I managed my way through it and asked for guidance and help where needed to ensure the job was done correctly.
