Recruitment Intern Review

I support the coordination of the recruitment team, primarily in sales, by managing the recruitment mailbox, responding to candidate queries, and handling administrative tasks. My responsibilities include sending contracts, conducting right to work checks, requesting references, and managing backend logistics for sales assessment centres. I also schedule placeholder interviews for recruiters, ensuring a smooth and efficient hiring process.

I was given a significant amount of responsibility, which made me feel like a truly valued member of the team. I was trusted to take ownership of tasks as if the role were my own, and my contributions were genuinely appreciated. I had the opportunity to shape and improve processes, bringing my own ideas to the table. This level of trust and autonomy helped me grow both professionally and personally.

During my placement, I’ve gained immense confidence and independence, thanks to the incredible support of the recruitment team. I feel like a completely new person, having developed skills I never imagined—particularly in organisation and presenting.
