Overview of Role

Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
My role includes a multitude of a daily tasks, such as:
- Risk reporting, all in excel with a variety of metrics being tracked.
- JIRA Dashboard monitoring, including creating new entries, closing old and submitting for review.
- Meetings regarding risk management and action plans.
- Presentation preparation for the risk committee, which starts on the first of every month and data to be gathered throughout and the PowerPoint prepped by the end of the month.
Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?
I was given a good level of responsibility during my placement. In addition to my daily tasks, I was assigned two independent projects—one focused on investigating late leavers and the other on improving Active Directory (AD) hygiene. These projects required me to analyse data, identify issues, and propose actionable solutions, which helped build my problem-solving and project management skills.
