Overview of Role
Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.
Validation of custom calibration for various OEM that Cummins provide engines to. Also involved with R&D for automation validation in our team. Worked closely with my manager to solve issue on the calibration for some of our customers.

Yes. I was fortunate enough to be trusted with a few responsibilities.

Working as a team in a corporate setting. Being concise yet precise with my elaboration. Learning how to compromise when working with someone else. Being thorough with research in order to understand and be confident in explaining it to someone else.

Sufficient amount. Having my manager always willing to spend time teaching and guiding me on how to grow in my technical knowledge.

What was the company culture and general atmosphere like?
Very welcoming. As an international student in the UK, I did not feel ostracized by the locals in Darlington. I felt a warm welcoming presence in the company since the day I joined.

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?
Enjoyed and grateful for the people that mentored me along the way. People in the company are friendly and kind, very inclusive. Learned many technical skills that I could use my knowledge from University.
