Facilities Industrial Placement Review

I provide project support, assist in planning and executing facility upgrades. I collaborate with contractors daily. I help manage maintenance schedules. I perform internal site inspections and H&S audits. I write H&S reports, asset registers, hot work permits , working at height permits and general work permits. I assist with floor plan layouts on AutoCAD and help out with Six sigma projects promoting efficiency within the business.

During my placement, I was entrusted with significant responsibilities that allowed me to grow professionally. I managed key projects, coordinated team efforts, and ensured deadlines were met. This experience developed my leadership skills and taught me the importance of accountability. Handling critical tasks and making impactful decisions boosted my confidence and prepared me for future challenges.

Being in an industrial environment has really developed my organisational and communication skills. Constantly working towards project timelines has greatly increased my time management and desire to succeed. I act with integrity when managing health and safey on site and ensure compliance processes are followed.

During my facilities placement, I received extensive support and guidance that greatly enhanced my learning experience. My manager provided valuable insights and constructive feedback, helping me navigate complex tasks and challenges. The collaborative environment and support system was instrumental in developing my skills and understanding of the industry, making the placement truly beneficial.
