Please give an overview of your role and what this involves on a day-to-day basis.

Managing the periodic promotional process for Cosmetics on the Tesco account. Managing cross functional internal and external relationships. Supporting my manager on cyclical admin tasks and ad-hoc requests.

Were you given much responsibility during your placement / internship?

I was responsible for managing the entire promotional process from start to finish from midway through my placement.

I have learnt new data management skills using new applications such as Nielsen Answers, and improving my excel skills. I have developed my communication skills working with my team and external agencies. I have improved my organisational skills by managing deadlines.

Overall Experience

To what extent did you enjoy your placement / internship?

I really enjoyed my placement from start to finish. I was given the opportunity to independently manage important processes for the business as well as delivering independent projects I worked on to leave a legacy in the company.
